Do you refund deposits?
If you give us a deposit and at any time prior to the time we purchase
your vehicle for you request a refund, that deposit is fully refundable to
you.
Once a purchase is made on your behalf, no refunds are provided. If the
purchaser finds a substantial discrepancy between our report of the
vehicle condition and the actual vehicle condition, we will correct the
discrepancy item at our expense or work out a compromise.
Can I see the vehicle before purchase?
Yes. Let us know you want to see the vehicle before we make the
purchase and we will make the arrangements. As an option to the
purchaser, we can sometimes provide digital photos of the vehicle prior
to purchase, if sufficient advance notice is given to dfwCARFINDER.com of
this request.
Can I have the car professionally inspected before purchase?
Yes, let us know you would like an inspection prior to purchase and we
will have an independent company provide that service. The
approximate charge to the purchaser is $125 for a 100+ point inspection
on the vehicle and full disclosure report.

No. However, we DO provide the purchaser a VIN so you can run an
independent history report on your own.
What is the purchase process?

verify the vehicle you are seeking and discuss the expected price to pay
for the vehicle. Once the vehicle and price are agreed upon, and a letter
of approval for funds is provided from your lender (as necessary), the
purchaser makes a 10% deposit on the vehicle and dfwCARFINDER.com
begins your specific search.
Upon locating a vehicle, dfwCARFINDER.com notifies the purchaser of a
potential match. At that time, we disclose as much information as
possible regarding the vehicle condition, including the Vehicle
Identification Number (VIN) to the purchaser such that a buy vs. pass
decision can be made by the purchaser.
If the car can be obtained at the pre-approved price, we make the
purchase.
Within five business days of notification of vehicle purchase, the
purchaser must provide full payment to dfwCARFINDER.com by cash,
certified funds, cashiers check or approved bank draft.
Upon receipt of full payment, including Tax, Title and License fees (TTL),
dfwCARFINDER.com provides you the vehicle and submits the
registration paperwork to the state of Texas. Texas vehicle tax is
6.25%. An inventory tax of 0.03% is also collected for vehicles. If you
are not a resident of Texas, you are responsible for the TTL and
registration fees in your own state.
Are Warranties available?
Vehicles are sold “as-is” and without warranty. Some vehicles may have
the factory warranty remaining. If the purchaser elects, an extended
warranty may be purchased at your expense. The extended warranty
price varies depending upon vehicle make and model. Please contact us

Do the cars have owner’s manuals?
Most cars do, but some cars are provided to us without an owner’s
manual. If the car comes with the manual, expect that dfwCARFINDER.
com will provide you that book. If no manual is provided, it is the
purchaser’s responsibility to obtain a manual. You are always assured
of getting all the keys provided us for the vehicle; sometimes that is only

and we also offer two additional types of discounts. The first is a 10%
repeat buyer discount, which would apply for any additional purchases
for you. We also offer a 10% referral fee. If you send someone to
dfwCARFINDER.com and they purchase a car from us, you receive a 10%
discount on your next purchase. Obviously, you need to have the
customer tell us that you sent him or her upon our initial contact with
them. Only 10% total off per vehicle purchase. In no case is your fee
less than $500.
Do we specialize in purchasing vehicles in a certain price range?
Not specifically, but our ‘sweet spot’ is cars between $10k-30k. We’ve
satisfactorily transacted hundreds of cars. We don’t work much with
vehicles below $5k because it’s hard to find quality vehicles for less than
$5k. And, we’ve transacted cars as high as $210k at the other end of
the spectrum.
Where do we get our vehicles?
Almost all cars come from the DFW area. Occasionally, a Purchaser has a
request for a special car that may be out of the area. In that case, and
upon request from Purchaser, dfwCARFINDER.com will go to other cities
to purchase a vehicle. In addition to the purchase fees, Purchaser must
cover travel expenses. Long-haul shipping to bring the vehicle back to
DFW can be arranged, as well.
